Hunan Garden Chinese Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

I've been eating out at Hunan Garden for 5+ years. The food has always been consistently tasty, they're fast and rarely make order mistakes. Portions are easily big enough for two to share and the meat to rice ratio doesn't make you feel ripped off like many others. Prices are reasonable (~$10-$12 per dish). I usually get it delivered with DoorDash and typically says 45 minute delivery time but always arrives early and have been eating in under 20 minutes on a few occasions.

This is no doubt one of the best place in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am very happy. They hold their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

The flu and service here was very good no one in my group was on satisfied with their meal everyone loved what they were eating And our waitress was very pleasant.

Use to be really good. Now they changed hands and it's terrible in my opinion. Portions are now half the size they use to be, and missing flavor too..will NOT go back again. Actually gave them two chances..well, I lied..tried a third time, desperate...worse than the last 2 times...really really bad...

It was awful , I got the combo beef and broccoli. The pork fried rice was orange, and no flavor, I added salt and soy and duck sauce still was not eatable. Not sure if there was any pork in it, just orange rice. The broccoli was good in that it still had a firm bite but no flavor, the beef was extremely rubbery and the sauce no flavor. Once again salt and sauces did not help. The egg roll was cooked on the outside perfect but the inside was mush and not exactly sure what kind of mush as it also had no taste. It was ready to go with in their time frame given and they were polite and gave plenty of sauce, that is the only positive overview I can give. Overall I will never eat there again and will certainly question future 4 star reviews.

Probably some of the worst takeout I've had, reasonably certain my order was messed up as well. Ordered chicken chow mein, and all I got was a soupy bowl of onions and watery chicken.

I love this place. The staff is always helpful, friendly and efficient. The food is always fresh and hot and what I ordered.

Cars were parked all in front and in the lot. People were lined up out the door. At least 6 people were working like crazy. They were filling called-in orders while taking walk-ins as well. I heard the lady telling some people that a few things were not available so this busy time must have been going on for a long time. We had ordered fried won-tons which were not available. So, crab rangoon, fried dumplings, pork fried rice, house lo mien

I love the mixed vegetables w/shrimp. I also 💘 the wings. The food is always fresh & 🔥. It's usually ready n 15 minutes.

Excellent, vegetables were fresh, and portions were great. My wife and I did the lunch special and the prices were great too. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The person taking the order could care less if I was there or not. the wontons in the wonton soup seemed like they were not cooked they were very tough and chewy. General tso's chicken was different but good. Fried rice was tasty. Eggroll was nothing special.

I used to love their food. Not anymore. I recently ordered take out. Food had no flavor no veggies .very disappointed. I used to have no leftover's , I threw most of it away . Also needs a good cleaning . Dirty & outdated . Sorry!

If you want chinese food this is a great place to go.

This use to be one of the best Chinese take-out restaurants but now the food is not half as good since it was sold a while back. And the egg rolls are the worst I have ever taste.

Not much room for seating in this location - so it's definitely take out for us. Great food. Of course we have our specials that we always get - Hunan Shrimp & Chicken; Kung Pao Shrimp & Chicken; Jade Flower Chicken - but these are all on the spicy side. (Not too spicy... just enough.) We usually get the Combination meal which includes soup, egg roll & pork fried rice ($8.50). Some day we may try something new... but if it's not broken..... Have been going to Hunan Garden for over 20 years - way back when it was in the building near the U.S. 1 City Center.

Great food and fast service. Only once was I disappointed with the crab Rangoon, otherwise I eat here about 2-3 times a month in the past 3 years.

If I could give half a star I would. Ordered egg foo young take out and it was ice cold while all the other items I ordered were warm, also found a fly in the sauce....lost my appetite. 30 dollars down the drain.

Glad to see it's back like it used to be. I had stopped ordering here after the last manager wasn't there anymore. Decided to try again and was happy to see everything's back to delicious.

I've always ordered from Hunan garden and was always satisfied. NOT TODAY. THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE! AND THE PORTIONS ARE ALOT SMALLER! BAD MOVE HUNAN!

Ordered during the Covid crisis. I order from them all the time best Chinese food around. However, have they changed cooks? It was the worst food I ever had. Even increased price!! I don’t mind increase if food is good, but it was so gross!! They lost my business

Love this place. Tough to find but it never disappoints. They always give extra items for free for larger orders and even gave me a free soda while I was waiting on my take out.
